Scott R. Lowden

Scott R. Lowden, a founding partner in the firm of Lowden Van Brauman LLP, is licensed to practice in Texas, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. Before entering private practice, he has served as an executive and the head of legal departments for two Fortune 100® companies. His practice concentrates on corporate and international law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and mediation of legal disputes, and includes planning, structuring, drafting, negotiating, and conducting due diligence investigations, joint venture agreements and divestitures. He also assists with all aspects related to supply chains, including planning, drafting and negotiating domestic and international purchase, supply, distribution, and sales representation agreements. Scott also structures and drafts domestic and international licenses of products, equipment, and software. He has published law review articles and other articles in The Business Lawyer and The Texas Lawyer on subjects ranging from international trade to the use of mediation to resolve internal and external corporate conflicts. Scott received his LLB from Harvard University School of Law and completed his Fulbright Fellowship at the University of Madrid, Spain. He received his BA, at Wesleyan University.
