Juan Manuel Rangel graduated with high honors (Magna Cum Laude) from the School of Law at the Universidad Mesoamericana de San Luis Potosi, and every year was awarded as the best student. His legal practice is wide-ranging, and includes civil, criminal, labor, corporative, and customs. Juan co-hosts a legal affairs program on local TV. He is a member and a legal consultant for the Chamber of Commerce of S.L.P.
